Panera in Sandusky

The perfect place to get something lite to eat.

Great coffee

Not a very good Panera. Was out of French baguettes and the substitute bread was pathetic and way smaller. The bowl of chicken noodle soup was also not very full and had barely any noodles or vegetables and was mostly broth. The salad was also very sad. It was mostly lettuce and only had two very dinky pieces of chicken. With all the choices of restaurants in Sandusky this is NOT the place to go. If you want Panera you should drive 15 minutes to the one in Avon. It will be worth the extra time.

I always wanted to visit a Panera Bread so finally my sister and I went. I didn't care for it. It was ok but wasn't really my cup of tea. The soup bowl was ok but didn't care for it when the bowl gets all soggy. The bread that came with me and my sister soup was really hard so we didn't eat that. The cookie and roll was ok but nothing to brag on. I won't visit again but it's not because it was nasty it's just not my cup of tea is all. Very clean and great customer service. Thanks...

The soup and sandwiches our heavenly. The souffles are stellular. Coffee is always hot and fresh. Mac and cheese undescribable e delicious.

Not good . Ordered Tuscan grilled cheese. It was basically Bacon with a tiny bit of melted shredded cheese and a spoonful of roasted tomato paste on thick bread that wasn't grilled...it was microwaved. sucked.

Drive thru service was awful.. food was great.. no reciet.. might have been better if we went in.. I deffiantly recomend half sandwich and squash soup... will be going back...

Went through the drive through & was pleasantly surprised that it didn't take long to get my order. What's funny is the server did think it took too long so they gave me some free bread & cookies. Took it home & everything tasted great. I was going to give it 4 stars because the portions you get are just a little under what I'd like them to be, but the service is just too good to not give it 5 stars.

December 24, 8:21 AM I stopped at Panera‘s in Sandusky and it truly was a mess. The manager was walking behind the counter over the door. He was more interested in talking about his tie with his buddies and he was fixing the restaurant. The food was poorly displayed and their showcase was mostly empty at eight in the morning they had in the line of customers and one cash register person. She was nice but not too fast. The floor behind the counter was literally covered with food that was dropped and left their baking racks all over the place and three people doing something not sure why. I am a big Panera fanAnd go to the one in Lorain this store is always clean professionally presented and very well run. The Lorraine Store is an outstanding representative of Panera‘s and the Sandusky store on 250 was literally a joke I will not go there again

We put in a large office order for puck up for a meeting and it was 100% correct which rarely happens at other places for us. Very friendly and speedy staff too!! Thanks so much!

Unfortunately, I cannot give this Panera bread 0 stars. Staff was not helpful at all. They were out of most everything. Step up your game Panera Bread, Sandusky.

We decided to stop and get lunch, as we have done many times before. They were out of many items on the menu, which I understand with the the COVID-19 but all items were still listed their menu. Food was not up to standard.The restrooms were totally disgusting. Looked like they haven’t been cleaned in a while. I expected more out Panera then the substandard conditions presented at the Sandusky, Ohio store

Food ok.. don't shop there too much only when family was in from Pennsylvania that brother got food and it's just okay price ain't all that either.. last time they were in was about six years ago and that's the last time I was wanting the food there..go to Aldi and get the same stuff just cheaper.honest

Great food but order is always wrong.

I ordered the green goddess cobb salad. The salad looked old. The avocado on it was DARK BROWN and nasty looking. I took the salad back and just asked for fresh avocado. The guy said they all look like that color cause they were cut up this morning. He was just like oh well.. and did not offer me a fresh one..it was 1:00pm. Lunchtime and you dont have fresh salads or avocados and you serve a salad like that. I go to other panera breads and have always had fresh salad no matter what time it is! Will never return there! Also drink station was filthy and most tables were dirty. Its a shame when you dont have workers that acually want to work or help customers.

Needs cleaning good service good food easy to find tons of parking

I was sick and didn't want to go into a store, so I stopped at Panera and got soup. Their chicken noodle is amazing.

The foods good. Salads are salads, nothing to lose your mind over. Dressing portion is a bit on the small side. If you go and get the pick 2 sandwich and a salad with a drink you're gonna spend around $17 for one person. Which to me seems really high for what the food is and not enough dressing to cover a small salad. But the food quality is good, staff is friendly. If the prices and portions were adjusted I would come here a lot.

They need to work on their sandwiches. Had a grilled cheese, it had no taste. The cheese was not even melted like it had been sitting there a while

I really love feeling like I'm making a healthy choice even with going somewhere convenient. The smoothies are so good I could get one everyday. The staff is always so nice and professional. My only complaint is that it's really overpriced you could go to a sit down restaurant and pay less. It was 40 dollars for two people the last time I went which is a bit excessive and it was just two pick 2s and 2 smoothies.

3-11-2020, 7:45 am. Three young ladies working and I wasn't greeted by none of them. Not a good morning or even a hello, just a are you ready to order? Very sad.Mostly come here for their bake goods, pastries, and of course a great cup of coffee to go with them. Usually a nice way to start the day.The atmosphere is nice with comfortable seating on either at tables and chairs or in a booth. They also have outdoor seating on good days. 🌞

I visit here at least 2x a month. If I had more time I would visit more. Everything is very tasty. Soup and sandwich pairs excellent. Good soup varieties and the smell when you walk in is heavenly.

Worst service and disappointing food.Tomato bacon grilled cheese,and tomato soup in a bread bowl. Clerk asks would you like a baguette, why? Yes I'd like more bread with my grill cheese and bread bowl soup, which my soup tasted like jar pasta sauce 🙄My husband isn't a Panera person and was confused by the clerk's lack of help. He got just the grilled cheese and chips, that was what she offered him. Our tomato bacon grilled cheese had a slice of of bacon, old tasting tomato (is actually sundied tomato.

The staff here are very pleasant and engaging. The food is served fast and as has always been my experience with Panera, everything tasted absolutely delicious. As noted by many other reviews, the food is a bit on the pricey side. But once you taste it you get the feeling you're getting your money's worth.That being said I'm giving 3 out of 5 stars because they could have done a little bit better with the cleanliness. While I wouldn't describe the place as "filthy," it was far below the level of the standard I've become used to at this chain.Bathrooms and dining area needed a once over.

One of the slowest pameras I have been to. They also do not have tea at this location. Rude employee says they ran out of ALL of their teas!!! Do not recommend this place.

Service was good, but the food wasn't fantastic. The steak on my sandwich was tough and pale, and it felt like they used less condiments and meat.

Food is wonderful. Place was clean but it's expensive. For 2 1/2 sandwiches and salad and 2 drinks it was $30. I ate there because it's healthier. I understand it's better quality. I guess it's my problem. I just think to myself I could make the same thing at home way cheaper.Not their problem.

The staff was friendly, made suggestions. The food was delicious. I love the mac and cheese. Restaurant was clean and tidy.

Haven't eaten the food yet, but it's always good, and the service was great!

Usually madly in love with Panera 😍 however they were very uncoordinated this visit. My husband was done with his food before I ever even got my frozen mocha, which I took one sip and gave to him to drink. It was awful, all I got was nasty chocolate syrup taste. 😫 So I waited all that time for a drink I didn't even drink.😥 They need to reorganize how they put together orders for customers I cannot see any way the current way is efficient nor effective. Food was great as always, service was slow and erratic and unorganized. Drink was awful. So only 3 stars this trip.

Really delicious food with nice presentation.

This is the worst Panera Bread my family has ever been to. We placed a Rapid Order to pick up. When we got there is to pick it up it took THIRTY minutes to get the order, get it corrected, and when we got home to eat -- the cream cheese ended up being wrong. An unbelievably awful experience.

I'm lazy sometimes and whenever I'm in this area I only come for the drive thru. Food is usually good haven't had any issues yet.

A great store in a very competitive market. Many food choices all around in this tourist destination but this place is always busy. Sometimes it gets a little dirty but the crew is always working on it.

If you are open until 10pm, your full menus should be available. No iced coffee or and hazelnut coffee or any frozen drinks at 9pm! An hour before you close? Awful!

Good food nice restaurant.

As usual, it is hard to find a Panera that disappoints. Courteous and helpful staff make this Panera a great place to get your eat-on before or after your visit to Cedar Point park!

Friendly staff, relatively clean and low noise compared to many. If you are looking for a bagel with your coffee in the afternoon better go a few blocks north to the Dunkin Donuts as this Panera has 11 out of 12 available bagel trays completely empty. Hmmm...they are a bakery, no?

I love Panera! Their customer service is amazing!! Food is great!!
